Import Privacy

1. What LeagueLore Imports
LeagueLore imports fantasy football league history needed for records, analytics, recaps, draft prep, and league answers. Imported data is scoped to the LeagueLore league workspace and its member permissions.
2. Private ESPN Leagues
ESPN does not provide a standard LeagueLore connection for private leagues. LeagueLore offers a few import options: commissioner-assisted import, the local LeagueLore Import Helper, or advanced temporary ESPN session values. LeagueLore never asks for your ESPN password.
3. Saved Access
If you choose to save ESPN access for future imports, LeagueLore stores those values encrypted and uses them only for ESPN sync. Session values can act like access to your ESPN session, so use your own ESPN account and a device you trust. Credential status views and reuse options are sanitized so raw values are not shown back in the product, and saved values can be removed later.
4. Local Helper Uploads
The LeagueLore Import Helper is designed to upload normalized LeagueLore import data. Helper sessions use short-lived upload tokens and let you review the preview before committing the import into the authenticated LeagueLore workspace.
5. Access Boundaries
League data must remain league-scoped. LeagueLore uses membership and role checks so imported history, analytics, draft tools, and assistant workflows are available only to authorized league members.
